The Heights Civility Project was founded in 2005 by a group of concerned community leaders in the greater Heights area. The goal of the project is to promote civility in communication and action with regards to conflict resolution. While initially the project focused on civility in understanding racial and cultural diffferences, the project has wide applications - including conflict resolution and understanding in business settings.
As part of the founding team of community leaders, Ron Schmidt has substantial experience in helping people and organizations identify sources of conflict and developing solution frameworks. Civility places a premium on respect for differing views and the dignity of individuals.
